It's all about the "Benjamin's" baby... School districts are always finding ways to save money- library funding sometimes is one of the first to go. Print sources and technology are expensive- have you thought about ways to maintain and repair what you have already curated in your library (or classroom)? Best practices in book repair and technology preservation will be shared in this hands-on workshop. Bring some materials to mend and we will share our ideas and supplies to get you started in maintaining what you already own!

This session will actively address R.I.S.E. goals 1 and 3, as we share examples of technology that sharpens the focus and strengthens literacy instruction and offers suggestions to build a culture of reading for EVERY student!
