Sergei Shapoval was born in Ukraine and has his master's degree in Music Education from the Gnessin Pedagogical Institute in Moscow.  He is a touring teaching-artist for the Missouri Arts Council, The North Dakota Council on the Arts, the Arkansas Arts Council and the South Dakota Arts Council.  He has been touring and presenting for The Cultural Kaleidoscope for 27 years.
