Tia Brickey is a library media specialist recognized as a passionate, student-centered educator. She continually seeks to empower her students to become lifelong readers, technology and information savvy, and to build a maker mindset. She is a product of the Stuttgart Public School system and is a 22-year veteran of the school district. She has a Master’s Degree in Library Media and Information Technology from UCA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from UALR. She achieved National Board Certification in 2008 and recertification in 2019. She was a semi-finalist for Arkansas Teacher of the Year 2021. Her 11 years as a library media specialist have allowed her to combine her two loves - reading and technology. Mrs. Brickey is an avid reader who especially loves to do so near any body of water.
